Love in the Moonlight, Together for All

Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of love & abundance. To the Chinese, Mid-Autumn Festival means family reunion and peace under the full moon, a symbol of unity, happiness and prosperity.
For some, such festive celebration presents a feeling of emptiness. Life to them is worrying about whether they can afford the next meal or just longing to have someone whom they can turn to for help when nothing else seems possible.
Over the past 22 years, Shan You has been actively reaching out to serve the needs of those who are high at risk of being socially isolated in our society through our social care services. This group of people include those from low-income families and the elderly.
This year, Shan You is organising "Love in the Moonlight, Together for All" - a fundraising event in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival at the River Safari. We hope to bring a new twist to the festival celebration this year. As you celebrate the reunion with your love ones, you too would want to share the love and bless those who are less privileged in our society.
We aim to raise $100,000 through this event. Your support will be key to sustain our organisation's services so that we are able to reach out to more and benefit the community we serve.
You will also be part of a new Singapore Book of Records of having the most number of people coming together with animal-themed lanterns!
