About Campaign

I am Yoke from SGH Work-Life Unit and a novice triathlete who loves to swim, bike and run. This year, I am honoured to be part of team who will cycle 200KM around Singapore to mark the SGH bicentennial. Motivated to help patients in need during their most difficult hours, I will challenge myself to ride 2,000KM in support of the SGH Needy Patient Fund.

I participated in many physical endurance events to raise fund for charities. My fundraising journey started in 2010 with A/Prof Terence Kee, Senior Consultant, SGH where we kickoff the Pedal for Cause initiative to raise funds for needy patients. Started as a humble group of 5 cyclists, we cycled on stationery bikes for 6 continuous hours. It was heartwarming to receive the overwhelming support from our colleagues and we were motivated to push our physical endurance to our limits.

Every kind act creates a ripple. Through our effort, we hope to encourage more to step forward and give to the less fortunate among us. Make your gift now towards SGH Needy Patients Fund and make a difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones.

All eligible donations will enjoy a 250% tax deduction. The donation will be automatically included in the donor's IRAS tax assessment and receipt will be issued upon request. If you would like one, please email us at [email protected]
