About Campaign

Hi! I'm running the Sunshine Coast Marathon on 19th August!

This will be my 7th race and to make it meaningful I want to support a worthwhile cause, by raising funds for the Tan Kim Ping Academic Fund under the Radiological Sciences ACP (RADSC ACP).

This will be the first time that I will be running for a worthy cause;

When Prof Tan Bien Soo told me that the RAD Race was happening on the same day as the Sunshine Coast Marathon it seemed fated. I am running to support the importance of research and education in Singapore's public health sector!

The Radiological Sciences Academic Clinical Programme (RADSC ACP) in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre brings together the fields of Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology to advance the way we see, understand and treat the human body.

This year, RADSC ACP is establishing the Tan Kim Ping Academic Fund to honour Dr Tan Kim Ping's vision, dedication and leadership in shaping the Radiological Sciences in Singapore.

The Fund aims to provide world-class patient care, train the best and brightest radiologists to serve future generations, and to discover new imaging technologies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
