To serve the needy in the community through the provision of relevant community/welfare programmes and services, which may include child care, after school care, tuition, educational and enrichment programmes, literacy skills programmes, school-based social work, youth preventive, development and remedial programmes, and services for families;
To provide an information and referral service that identifies and assesses the needs of families or individuals and links them with appropriate community resources;
To provide care, assistance and counselling to individuals and families in need and/or distress;
To provide casework and counseling services to help families or individuals resolve their personal, social difficulties, including marital counseling/pre-marital counseling, behavioral problems, child management, family violence, financial difficulties and interpersonal relationships
