About Campaign
ends 08 Aug 2022, 11:59 PMSBFC's annual Flag Day has been a vital fundraising event to sustain our operation with COVID-19 pandemic still casting its shadow in 2022, we are not bringing the tins on street but reaching out to you online from 08/05/2022 to 08/08/2022.
COVID-19 pandemic is a trying time for many of us, SBFC too faces much challenges as we rely heavily on public donations. SBFC serves patients regardless of race and religion, our elderly patients made up over 65%. Our yearly operating cost about $7.5 million. We hope to raise a target of $120,000 from this programme.
All donations received are able to obtain dollar for dollar matching by Tote Board and the Singapore Government.
Join us in our efforts to continue provide quality healthcare services to the seniors and less privileged in our community. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Together we demonstrate the SG spirit of philanthropy in promoting a warm and caring society.
About the Charity
SBFC provides free TCM consultation and subsidised medication to the general public regardless of race and religion at 7 clinics across the island, delivering over 230 thousand times of free consultation during latest year. Our annual operating cost is about $7.5 million fully supported by public donations. We have over 30 qualified physicians with the support of clinic and administrative staff. Our Cancer Treatment Centre at the Main Clinic, Sembawang and Tampines Branch, Offer complementary TCM treatment to cancer patients, helping them to reduce side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and to strengthen their immune systems. We also provide Counselling Services at the Main Clinic and Tampines Branch, taking care of the emotional and psychological well-being of the public.
We earnestly appeal everyone to donate generously, in the spirit of fraternal friendship to support our free TCM services.
All qualifying donations to the medical fund are tax deductible 2.5 times and will be submitted to IRAS by SBFC. Please provide your Name in English and NRIC or Company Name and UEN to qualify for tax exemption.
