Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic, will be operating a new clinic at block 23 Dover Crescent by the first quarter of 2016.
The clinic will have a capacity to service 2,000 patients a month, serving residents from Dover, Khim Moh, Holland, Commonwealth, Queenstown, North Buona Vista area, etc.
After one year of preparation, construction work has begun, following a ground breaking ceremony held at 10 am on 23 September 2015.
We hope that construction work will be carried out as per planned and to complete the installation of various equipment on time for operations in quarter one of 2016.
With the opening of Dover Branch, we will be closing the Rehabilitation Centre at Indus

About the Charity

SBFC provides subsidized health care services for the sick and needy. We operate eight TCM clinics in Singapore with about 40 certified practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our employees comprising mainly clinic assistants, clerks and administrative staff, provide services and support to our patients. Average patient visits per day is more than 1,000. Our patients received 300 thousand times of free consultation during latest year. Our estimated annual operating cost is about $7.5 million fully supported by public donations/government grants. We have TCM Cancer Treatment Centre at the Main Clinic, Sembawang and Tampines Branch. In addition, SBFC also provides Counselling Services at the Main Clinic, Tanjong Pagar and Tampines Branch, taking care of the emotional and psychological well-being of the public.

Our regular fundraising activities, such as Fun Fair, Flag Day and Walkathon, were cancelled being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We earnestly appeal everyone to donate generously, in the spirit of fraternal friendship to support our free TCM services.

All qualifying donations to the medical fund are tax deductible and will be submitted to IRAS by SBFC. Please provide your Name in English and NRIC or Company Name and UEN to qualify for tax exemption.
