About Us

RSVP Singapore is a non-profit organisation and an Institution of Public Character. Since its inception in 1998, RSVP Singapore has been actively engaging seniors to serve the community with their talent and experience through purpose-driven volunteerism.

Through impactful community service programmes, we serve more than 200,000 beneficiaries each year. These include the mentally disadvantaged, at-risk children from low income families and socially isolated seniors. RSVP's programmes are designed to support and empower senior volunteers to embody its core values of lifelong learning, active ageing, integrity, sharing experience and service.

We will be celebrating our achievements of 20 years of senior volunteerism this year. To commemorate this occasion, we will be organising a Gala Charity Dinner on 31 October 2018 at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel to raise funds to support our community programmes. Thus, all donations received through this year will be channeled towards our Gala Charity Dinner.

Our Programmes

Our programmes are inclusive, serve beneficiaries with diverse profiles, and create purposeful volunteering journeys for our seniors:

- Encourage socially isolated and vulnerable seniors though relationships and community activities to keep them physically and mentally active
- Engage elderly patients that have been discharged from hospital care
- Support rehabilitating mental health patients through their recovery
- Mentor and supervise at-risk primary school children from low income families

- Conduct guided tours at heritage centres, art galleries and places of interest
- Assist passengers in Changi Airport terminals
- Serve as concierge and guide in hospitals and/or galleries

- Train and develop effective volunteers and volunteer team leaders
- Help seniors bridge the digital divide by developing their IT skills
