About Campaign

A happy child is the greatest gift one can give parents of critically-ill children. A smile from their child is all it takes to alleviate the stress and tension parents face while navigating the tough medical journey ahead of them.

At RMHC Singapore, our belief in Family-Centric Care helps keep families close to their sick child. Our house and family rooms provide parents with a place of respite, which enables them to recharge and thus allows for them to be present when visiting their child in the wards. This support is crucial to see families through their most challenging times.

By extending a little love, through your kind donations and support, you also bring insurmountable joy and happiness to the families we serve.

About the Charity

Ronald McDonald House Charities Singapore was founded in 1989, and belongs to a global network of over 260 chapters in 62 countries. We are an independently administered charity with a simple mission - to directly improve the health and well-being of children in Singapore.

We believe that a "home" is more than four walls and a roof over your head. That is why every Ronald McDonald House is a safe haven that provides all the comforts of home, plus the compassion and hospitality of staff, volunteers, and other families - all just steps away from the hospital.

Our home is filled with more than help; it is filled with hope. We believe that when families are together, they cope better. That is because we believe that no family should have to deal with their child's medical crisis alone.

Seriously ill or injured children often need to spend weeks or months in a hospital for the necessary treatment. It is not only an incredibly long time to be away from home but also for a family to be divided - usually with the mother at the bedside of the sick child, leaving the father or relatives to take care of the siblings. Ronald McDonald House serves as a place of respite and also one for the families to gather, while being close to their warded child.
