Building Youth CapacityThe foundation believes in the potential and capacity of the young in these efforts. We seek to build expertise and capabilities of our youth in undertaking humanitarian and community service projects. We provide grants for volunteers to come together and execute projects to assist under-privileged groups here and in the region. This experience will enable and empower youth from diverse backgrounds to be passionate volunteers and radiate blessings to all.Supporting Community ProjectsSince 2009, the Foundation has given more than SGD 1.4 million worth of grants to 82 community service projects by youth groups. The projects include education and motivation of vulnerable youth, eldercare, care for people with disabilities, care for orphans and at-risk youth as well as environmental protection and conservation.Facilitating Humanitarian ReliefOver the last ten years, RLAF, with the support of the community has contributed over SGD 7 Million to aid survivors of humanitarian disasters and crisis in over 20 countries. While emergency relief is the critical phase, we focus our efforts in delivering the assistance that would be necessary for rebuilding of lives of the survivors beyond the relief phase.
