In the year of the Tiger, we wish to inspire you to Light Up 'Lanterns' for Hope.

For Every $100 Ang Bao Donation:
Will help to defray the costs of one 45 mins therapeutic horse riding session for 1 beneficiary with special needs.

For Every $1000 Ang Bao Donation:
Will help to defray the costs of one whole therapeutic horse riding term of 10 weeks for 1 beneficiary with special needs. RDA Singapore will be placing 10 paper lanterns of Hope with the donor's name at our Centre.

NVPC is waiving its 3% transaction fee for all donations on Giving.sg from 1 Apr 2021 until 31 Mar 2022. We hope this will inspire you to give if you can, as 100% of your donations will go to RDA.

Your support and generosity will allow RDA to continue to serve our beneficiaries without much hindrance, as we overcome this adversary together. Because, Together and United we will prevail.

No one can do Everything, but Everyone can do something.

Give, even if you only have a little.

About the Charity

Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore is the only local charity which provides Therapeutic Horse-Riding and Equine-Assisted Activities for children and adults with disabilities, 100% free of charge.

Our therapy horses and ponies provide a tool for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with special needs, in a non-clinical setting, that is fun and effective, helping the beneficiaries to function better in school/at work, at home and general daily activities, and ultimately helping to improve the quality of life for the beneficiaries and their families.

As part of the therapy, we bring our riders out for walks at a nearby forested trail. For many of our riders with physical disabilities, going into a forest is impossible on a wheelchair or with a walking aid. But they can do so with ease on a horse-back.

Over the years, some of our riders have advanced beyond therapy riding to international competition level! Two of our riders, Gemma Foo and Maximillian Tan, who represented Singapore in the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Paralympics Games started their riding sessions
