About Campaignends 30 Jun 2021, 11:59 PM
Masks have become the defining icon of the pandemic, protecting society from the spread of the virus. But within the sea of masked faces, the mental health of Singaporeans has been bearing the brunt of new anxieties over education, employment, and relationships, taking a toll on mental health and emotional well-being.
While we keep our masks on to protect our society and loved ones, we don't have to mask the stigma of mental health. This stigma is compounded by the unaffordability of mental health treatment, making it even tougher for those in difficult financial situations to seek help.
#UnmaskTheStigma aims to raise funds to support those in need of mental health support, while also raising mental health awareness in Singapore.
You can support those in need by donating, as REACH Community Services aims to provide counselling and support to the Least, the Lost, and the Lonely who may be unable to afford them.
As an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC), all donations $20 and above made to REACH Community Services Society are eligible for 250% tax deduction. Should you require any assistance or other queries, please feel free to contact Alvin Teo at 68010872 or email [email protected]
Together we can #UnmaskTheStigma against mental health.
About the Charity
REACH Community Services Society was founded in 1998 by Grace Assembly of God to help the Least, the Lost, and the Lonely in the community. REACH was registered as a charitable organisation in 1999 and has been an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC) since 2009. REACH offers community programmes and services through our six touchpoints. We strive to inspire hope and empower change in vulnerable families, distressed couples, at-risk youths, and lonely seniors through our four core pillars: Family Service, Counselling Service, Youth Service and Senior Service. We aim to support families through financial assistance, casework and counselling; build lasting marriages through marital counselling; empower at-risk youths through mentoring sessions and engagement programmes; and aid our elderly to age gracefully through community projects.
