Chloe was among the earliest beneficiaries RDSS has when it was first established in 2011. She is turning 11 this year in November this year and the Charity hope to bless her with a brand new cough assist as a birthday gift.

Chloe has been using a cough assist since 2015 to help her cough out the secretion in her lung. After her tracheostomy in late 2019, the cough assist has became an essential equipment she needs to have around her all the time to ensure no blockage of the trachea tube.

Chloe's previous cough assist was given to her by a family in RDSS when their child passed on. Unfortunately, the cough assist has broke down in April during Covid-19 circuit breaker. She is currently relying on a loaned set from the hospital to support her needs.

RDSS is hoping to raise $4,000 to purchase a brand new cough assist machine for Chloe. Your kind donation is greatly appreciated.

About the Charity

We know you care because LOVE IS NOT RARE. Individuals with rare diseases form a minority in our society that receive little or no attention. Due to the lack of resources, they may not receive timely and accurate diagnosis, which can cause serious complications including disability and death. The charity understands the fight on a deeply personal level and keeps in mind the needs of this community at all times. Our collective efforts will allow patients to have access to sustainable treatments and live a quality life.
