Carry Hope 2022 - 7.7km Challenge

Objective: To improve the quality of life for our beneficiaries by raising $100,000 for Home Based Learning and Therapy Support.

Participants will clock in distance of 7.7km, carrying Hope with them during their journey. While doing so, participants will rally their friends to show their support by tagging their donations to them during this fund-raising event.

Why 7.7km?
There have been on record, over 7,000 kinds of rare disorders and many more still being undiagnosed. Rare diseases currently affect 3.5% - 5.9% of the worldwide population.
72% of rare diseases are genetic whilst others are the result of infections (bacterial or viral), allergies and environmental causes, or are degenerative and proliferative.
70% of those genetic rare diseases start in childhood.
A disease defined as rare when it affects fewer than 1 in 2,000 people.

About the Charity

We know you care because LOVE IS NOT RARE. Individuals with rare diseases form a minority in our society that receive little or no attention. Due to the lack of resources, they may not receive timely and accurate diagnosis, which can cause serious complications including disability and death. The charity understands the fight on a deeply personal level and keeps in mind the needs of this community at all times. Our collective efforts will allow patients to have access to sustainable treatments and live a quality life.
