About Campaign
ends 28 Dec 2015, 11:59 PM RDSS is organizing a Christmas party for our children this year. A total of 62 families will be attending the party and your contribution will enable us to bring tremendous joy and an unforgetable experience to our beneficiaries.
Natahsa Asmara is one of the many lives you have touched. 7-year old Natasha was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) when she was 6 months old. As a result, Natasha suffered severe muscle weakness and had been bedridden since. At 10 months old, she required a respiratory ventilator with oxygen support to aid her breathing. In addition to this, she lost her father to a motor accident. Her mother was unable to work as she could not afford to employ a helper to care for the children. Natasha has a sister, Alicia, who helps her mother look after Natasha after school. Alicia’s biggest wish is to be able to attend a party with her sister. We hope to fulfil her wish through this party and put a smile on all our beneficiaries faces!

About the Charity
We know you care because LOVE IS NOT RARE. Individuals with rare diseases form a minority in our society that receive little or no attention. Due to the lack of resources, they may not receive timely and accurate diagnosis, which can cause serious complications including disability and death. The charity understands the fight on a deeply personal level and keeps in mind the needs of this community at all times. Our collective efforts will allow patients to have access to sustainable treatments and live a quality life.
