About Campaign

ends 17 Nov 2019, 11:59 PM
The President's Star Charity (PSC) aims to galvanise the community-at-large to support the President's Challenge. In its 26th year, PSC 2019 appeals to viewers to be the change that they want to see in society, and know that it takes our entire community, working together, to create a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.

This theme of collaboration is also tied to our performances as we assemble a stellar line-up of local and foreign artistes and partner them with each other, in our bid to rally as many people in Singapore as possible to do their part and contribute to the empowerment of those in need.

Donations raised from PSC 2019 will go towards the 69 beneficiaries supported by the President's Challenge.

About the Charity

The President's Challenge started in 2000 and represents a coming together of people from all walks of life, under the President's patronage, to help those who are less fortunate. It is the President's call to all Singaporeans to do their part to build a more caring and cohesive society.

While fundraising continues to be at the heart of President's Challenge, the campaign has gone beyond the giving of money to the giving of time, skills and talent for the less fortunate. President now seeks to play a bigger role in nurturing stronger communities by expanding support for programmes beyond the social service sector and to encourage the young and elderly population to be involved in community work.

Under the leadership of President Halimah Yacob, President's Challenge is looking into more customised and upstream support to help the most vulnerable change their circumstances through skills upgrading, capacity building and empowerment.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
