Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.
I lost my late father due to heart attack and my mum is currently a heart bypass patient. Through this saga, I started to take my health and fitness more seriously. As a father now, I wouldn't want my wife and daughter to go through the same mental stress and trauma that I went through years ago. I was first introduced to Spartan Race in 2016 by a good friend of mine. By the grace of God, I was able to complete Trifecta Weekend (3 races over 2 consecutive days) as well as Spartan Ultra (50km and 65 obstacles) in 2018. I was also a Spartan World Trifecta Championship Qualifier last year and this year. In the process, I was able to inspire many of my friends around me to try out Spartan Racing. As a financial planner, my goal is not just to solve financial burdens for my friends and clients but also able to inspire them keep fit and enjoy the fruits of their good health. As a Christian believer, I always believe that it's always a blessing to be able to sow in the lives of others.
