Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.
Like most people, my life hasn't been all smooth sailing. I've been through a few difficult phases in my life but the most trying one would have been when I was in my late teens. I was facing a few issues and I was feeling really lost about my life's direction. At my lowest, I will wake up in the morning only to look forward to escaping back to sleep at night, and that lasted for a few months. I got by with this mantra that "There will be light at the end of the tunnel as long as I keep taking baby steps forward.

Every small act can have a ripple effect and if more people can step forward to contribute in their own ways (even if it is to just try to be more understanding and accommodating), it would make our society a better place to live in.

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
