About Relay Majulah
Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

I am the Chief Business Officer of Heycoins, a Fintech start-up which aims to alleviate the world's use of physical cash (mainly coins) and solving the issues facing the last mile to a cashless society.

Much like the contributions I try to make towards the youth development sector - in Youth Corps for 2 years, followed by initiating a Youth Expedition Programme project in North India which is currently in its 3rd iteration, I believe it boils down to a passion to pay it forward, and instilling service to community in several aspects of my professional and personal life by balancing.

Running began as a hobby during my National Service days, but eventually developed into a passion when I participated in 2 Gobi Desert mini ultra-marathons in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Since then, I've found myself partaking in local half and full marathons, but Relay Majulah will be my first ever charity run! My simple wish for my participation in Relay Majulah is to rally friends and loved ones toward the noble causes of the charities under the President's Challenge.

About the Charity

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment. Visit http://www.pc.org.sg/WhoWeSupport to find out about the benefiting organisations supported by President's Challenge this year. 100% of the donations received go towards the charities we support.
