About Relay Majulah
Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when I was 3 months old. My mother was my main caregiver. She passed away when I graduated from CPAS. I learnt to be independent and to take care of myself. Now my main focus is to do my job well, to be able to earn enough to sustain my daily expenditure so I could take care of myself.

I am a cashier at Daehwa Vegetarian Korean restaurant and also a delivery personnel for Grab Food and Food Panda. I feel proud of my current delivery job. When my customers thank me, it makes me very happy. They also looked happy when they see me. Delivering food every day using my wheelchair is a challenge at times but I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to earn my own income gives me a sense of pride. I feel empowered to lead an independent and dignified life.

I am happy to give back to the society and those in need. I also want to make myself and Singapore proud by representing Singapore in Paralympic Games. I hope to inspire others and persons with Cerebral Palsy that they can do it too.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
