Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.
I am a student in ITE College Central and also the President of my school's Extreme Runners CCA. I am happy to represent my school to take part in Relay Majulah in support of President's Challenge and be able to contribute to charity and to help the underprivileged. I believe that even the smallest of people can make the biggest of difference. I believe that no matter how small the deed is, it will eventually spread and have a positive impact in the community. So, I am taking the first step to make my community and my Singapore a better place for everyone.
My goal is to work for Active SG as I can connect with youths around the world through sports and I believe Sports Singapore is the perfect platform for that.
Participating in Relay Majulah is a challenge as the other running events I have participated are for much shorter distances but I am pushing myself out of my comfort zones - for a good cause and a cause larger than self.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social
In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
