About Relay Majulah
Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

Born bow-legged and flat-footed, I had to overcome my very poor physical ergonomics to be a regular runner to go on to be a finisher of 3 full marathons. I am CEO, Singapore Division, Parkway Pantai Limited, member of 2 school advisory committee, CDC District Counsellor, family with a young child without domestic helper and just started on a EMBA program and yes, juggling a very hectic schedule to squeeze time to train for Relay Majulah. For a worthy cause.

Coming from very humble family where both my parents dropped out from school in their early teens to support their family, I am extremely lucky to benefit from the excellent education system. I was awarded a government scholarship to study overseas which was beyond my wildest dreams. The subsequent advancement in my career and relative success were a result of our meritocracy based society.

I hope that through my participation in Relay Majulah, I can encourage more people to pick up running and above it all, for members of the society to continue to give back and lend a helping hand to others.
