Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

I am an Advertising Specialist. I started to run with my group of friends in recent years due to my high cholesterol issue. I am an avid runner and I participate in at least a few charity events yearly. I feel blessed that I am able to contribute to charity through my passion, which is running. My 2 sons are sprinters and they represent their schools in many tournaments. Our common interest in running allows us to spend more time together, and bonds us stronger as a family.

I am honored and look forward to participate in Relay Majulah, and to join fellow runners and friends in this meaningful fund-raising event for the 67 charities under the President's Challenge. I hope to be able to create awareness, cultivate and spread the spirit of helping the less fortunate amongst us. Let us have the "kampong spirit" and come together regardless of race and religion, to accept the challenge, and work as ONE to build our people, our nation.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
