About Relay Majulah
Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

Weighing 128kg in 2013, Nelson Tulsiani was in danger of contracting diabetes. Today, the 47-year-old has shed nearly half his weight to 68kg, after signing up with a weight management programme at Changi Sports Medicine Centre. He is among 1,677 people who have benefited from the advice and supervision of the centre's sports physicians, dietitians and trainers since 2005.

I am participating in Relay Majulah to run for the betterment in the lives of our community in need, supported charities under President's Challenge and for our nation's progress. I hope to inspire others to not only keep fit, but to also watch their weight, similar to the journey I had undertaken years back when I was overweight at 128kg. It is my 1st time running for a good cause and I am really looking forward to playing my part. Join us in making a change in Our Singapore.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
