Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.
I'm currently working in Drew & Napier as a Senior Executive in business development & marketing.
If there is something I could be proud of, it is definitely the place I am in today. Several years ago, it was a different story. I was a national athlete trying to make ends meet. With almost no financial support, I had to work 2-3 jobs, almost every other day, attend school and train at high intensity for years. I could have chosen to let go and give up. But if I had done that, I wouldn't have learnt how to fight. I wouldn't have met some exceptional people. I wouldn't have had lifelong friends. The values sports instill in one are immeasurable. I have a record that I still hold. That being said, my position today was made possible because people gave me the opportunities to become a better person.
Through my participation in Relay Majulah, I hope we can build each other up so that we are stronger together than we are individually. Live a life well with purpose, so that when you look back, you will have something to be proud of and call your own.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social
In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
