$50 helps subsidise the medical costs for the less fortunate such as their doctor visits and medication.
$100 covers the cost of skills training so those with intellectual disabilities can be less dependent and live better lives.

ITE will also be holding a series of activities to help the seniors and persons with physical disabilities to embrace digitalisation and build a digitally-inclusive society.
The Senior Citizen Goes Digital programme entails helping senior citizens to embrace digitalisation through Digital Asset Creation, so that they are able to record and edit videos, make video calls and participate in online doctor consultations.
In the Digital Assistive Tech Innovation competition, students will use Autodesk CAD to design assistive technology devices in support of the seniors and persons with physical challenges.
ITE will also be sharing on how to deploy Autonomous Mobile Robots, as well as conduct short online courses - Basic Robotics, Arduino Programming, Computer-Aided Drawing and Drone Manoeuvering - to help enhance employability for persons with physical disabilities.

About the Charity
The President's Challenge is an annual community outreach and fundraising campaign for charities selected every year by the President's Office. It is a call to all Singaporeans in doing their part in building a more caring and inclusive society.
Initiated in 2000 by former President S R Nathan, the Challenge represents the coming together of people from all walks of life, to help the less fortunate.
