About Campaign

Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.

It is my pleasure to be part of the 200 runners in Relay Majulah covering 2000km over 200 hours on 02-10 November 2019 to raise funds for the President's Challenge and its 67 supporter charities.

Running has always been my passion. I have been working as an Senior Associate Executive in KK women's and Children Hospital (KKH) since 2013 in Department of Child Development. Our department specialises on pre-school children with Autism, ADHD, special needs with developmental growth. Children with special needs take long term consultation and different therapy treatments individually. This impact not only the children, also the family members mentally, physically and financially challenges.

I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute my part and to raise funds for the campaign. I hope to create awareness for social causes. Your kindness and generosity do make a difference to their lives. Let us bring light and happiness to the less fortunate. Thank you so much for your kind donations.

In 2012, under the leadership of former President Tony Tan Keng Yam, the Challenge was expanded to go beyond fundraising by including volunteerism and social

In 2018, President Halimah Yacob announced a $10 million fund (Empowering For Life Fund) which will empower vulnerable groups through skills upgrading, capacity-building and employment.
