Relay Majulah is a ground-up initiative to form a 200-runners team to conquer 2,000km over 200 hours (2-10 Nov 2019) to raise funds for President's Challenge and its 67 supported charities; and to commemorate Singapore's 200 years. It also aims to unite the community, for the community; and tell the inspiring stories of people with indomitable spirit, who live life to the full and live life without limits.
I was in the public service for over 30 years, 25 years of which was in the Navy and another 5 with PUB and LTA. I am now the Chief Marketing Officer of ST Engineering Group. I am glad to have made my small contributions to the development of this nation over three decades.
I count my blessings to have grown up with and to have made small contributions to our nation over the last five decades. There are many more Singaporeans who are less fortunate and who needs our care and support. Whenever we can, we should come together to give and help to improve their lives - whether in big or small ways. It all adds up.
My wish is that many more Singaporeans would be able to come forward to help the less fortunate so that we can rise as a nation. We have to move forward as ONE People together, and as a united and cohesive society, overcoming challenges and struggles for a much brighter future ahead - for our generation and beyond.
