Playeum works closely with community partners such as Family Service Centres, Children"s Home, Foster Care Services, Child Protection Services, Student Care Centres serving low-income families and Special Needs and Intervention Services. In partnership with these agencies, Playeum provides children with opportunities to play and create in a safe and informed environment.
Your donation can support single or multi-session visits to the Children"s Centre for Creativity. There are tangible benefits for beneficiaries, particularly when they return for consecutive visits to the Children"s Centre for Creativity. These can include:
Raised levels of confidence
Increased verbal expression
Longer focus and attention span
An increase in collaborative work/social engagement
These benefits have been measured and evidenced through programmes with beneficiaries which have involved repeat exposure to Playeum"s creative and exploratory pedagogical approach. The children also have fun!
Just $25 can support a child"s visit to the Children"s Centre for Creativity for a whole day.
Please donate to provide disadvantaged children opportunities to enjoy unlimited play and creative exploration.
About the Charity
Playeum is an independent charity organisation (IPC) that champions children through play, creativity and the arts. We advocate for children's voices and the development of crucial 21st century skills such as problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and more, through the play and the arts.
Through our deep-impact programmes and outreach that enhance social-emotional learning and confidence building, we work closely with children under our community partners such as Family Service Centres (FSCs), Children's Home & Child Protection Services, and as well as children with special needs to ensure that all children have the space and time to play creatively.
