About Campaign
ends 01 May 2024, 11:59 PMOver a hundred young musicians at the Mandeville Conservatory of Music - many of whom have consistently won accolades in major local and international competitions - will harness the power of their musical talent to fundraise for Playeum through the school's highly-anticipated annual concert.
Date: 2 December 2023 Saturday, 2pm
Venue: The Republic Cultural Centre
Tickets are sold at SGD 68 (Premium Seats) each.
Full proceeds from the charity ticket sale will support children's charity Playeum. All donations will be eligible for a 250% tax deduction and will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the NAC Cultural Matching Fund. Donors will also be recognised and honoured at the event, as well as on all of our digital marketing collateral.
Your generous contribution will go a long way to building confidence and life skills in children from disadvantaged backgrounds through play and the arts.
This year, Playeum's community-based programmes will benefit over 120 children and their adults from low-income communities - including MSF ComLink@Bedok, SHINE Children and Youth Services, and the CDAC.
Beyond this, your donation will strengthen our work in sharing the practices with educators, social sector workers and parents, enabling them to help children develop crucial life skills.
About the Charity
Playeum is a registered charity with an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status established in 2013. We use play and the arts to develop confidence and life skills in children, especially children from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with special needs. We close the opportunity divides for children and transform mindsets of adults through play-based programmes, adult education, and research.
Over the last 5 years, we partner with schools, self-help groups, and social service agencies to impact more than 62,000 children and their adults.
