Young musicians at the Mandeville Conservatory of Music continue to harness the power of music to do good as they seek to fundraise for independent children's charity Playeum through their upcoming 27th-anniversary concert Resurgence. These talented children - many of whom have consistently won accolades in major local and international competitions - will perform a repertoire of beautiful songs that travel through genres and spread the message of hope to other children.
Net proceeds from the concert will help fund Playeum's work to develop confidence and life skills in children from disadvantaged backgrounds through its play intervention programmes. They include children from low-income families at South Central Community Family Service Centre, MSF Community Link, and the Chinese Development Assistance Council.

About the Charity
Playeum is a registered charity with an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status established in 2013. We use play and the arts to develop confidence and life skills in children, especially children from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with special needs. We close the opportunity divides for children and transform mindsets of adults through play-based programmes, adult education, and research.
Over the last 5 years, we partner with schools, self-help groups, and social service agencies to impact more than 62,000 children and their adults.
