The PERTAPIS Charity Walkathon is a campaign mobilizing a broad based of community support by obtaining donations through walkathon pledge cards. The donation will also be obtained through walkathon online donation campaign as well as through corporate outright donations. Charity Walkathon participants include students, volunteers, organisations and corporate groups.

This annual event is organised as a symbol of empowerment, remembrance and awareness of the people who are in need of the society's help. It also allows our volunteers, supporters and the community, especially our young Singaporeans to make a visible contribution to the society, have fun and encourage healthy exercise.

The fund raised is for the food expenses of PERTAPIS 800 resident and non-resident beneficiaries.

This year, our charity walkathon objective is set in line with the Ministry of Health's campaign, that is to fight against diabetes.
