Gladiolus Place is a Christian residential refuge for teenage Girls aged 12-19 years of age. Here, we provide a safe and loving family environment for every Girl who walks through our door, regardless of her race or religion. We envision for each Girl, under our care and nurturing to bloom like the Gladiolus flower, clothed in strength and honour, empowered to be women of dignity and confidence, so that they may live their lives to the fullest.

The Home conducts crisis management, counselling, education and rehabilitation services for these female residents and their families. Broken and reconstituted families and high stresses of modern life leave many Girls unable to cope with the situations. To prepare the Girls for eventual re-integration into society and to become a socially viable individual, we need external assistance to sustain our mission and work, and improve our programmes to rehabilitate these girls. This year, we are also undertaking repair and maintenance works at our premises to ensure that our Girls have a safe, comfortable, and homely environment during their stay with us.
