Social Gifting is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise registered under raiSE. It is supported by NorthWest CDC, founded and spearheaded by Singapore University of Social Science students. We provide free crafting sessions and materials to co-create exquisite handmade gifts with differently-abled crafters, warriors and seniors, empowering them to build on their strengths and enabling them to live an enriching life with dignity.

At some point in our lives, we've all had to rely on the kindness of strangers. Having a community to support those who need it, when they need it most, is why we started Social Gifting. Being able to create products empowers them and enables them to earn a passive income. Join us to empower seniors at risk of social isolation, caregivers, warriors with illnesses and special needs to enable them to live an enriching life with dignity.

As of 2020, with the help of 1,022 volunteers, we have conducted 200 crafting sessions to co-create 35,249 gifts with 90 differently-abled crafters and disbursed $67,000 to them.

Every Tuesday:
- Crafting session @ Blk 18 Ghim Moh Road (Lions Befrienders)
- 10 to 11am
- We coach, motivate, encourage and assist seniors to do simple crafting.

Every Friday:
Crafting session @ 6 Bishan St 13 (Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled)
- 2.30pm to 4pm
- We coach, motivate, encourage and assist people with Special Needs to do simple crafting.
- Volunteer training/briefing @2.30-3pm; crafting @3-4pm.

Project / Skill-based volunteering
- Drive a programme or even start one
- Use your expertise to help us solve a problem (eg lack of awareness, funding, supply & demand, design, volunteer management, finance)
- Mentor our volunteers

Regular (twice a month)
- Attend 2 trainings with Social Gifting (Module 1) and Rainbow Centre / Lions Befrienders (Module 2)
- Able to regularly (twice a month) visit a family and craft with them for a year
- Via online or physical
