Mount Alvernia Hospital seeks to continue and embody the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to serve all with love.

About Us

Founded based on Catholic values by the Sisters from the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) in 1961, Mount Alvernia Hospital is Singapore's first private and only not-for-profit Catholic acute tertiary care hospital. We provide compassionate, excellent and holistic healthcare to serve all with love.

An exempt charity, annual surpluses are channelled back to the communities we serve and significant efforts are focused on providing outreach healthcare services to the poor, the vulnerable and the marginalised. This is made possible through activities including health screening, flu vaccination programmes, mobile clinic and subsidised medical and dental services at the outreach medical clinics in the Enabling Village at Redhill area and in the Agape Village at Toa Payoh.

Our Programmes

Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical & Dental Clinics

For the vulnerable and marginalised who have fallen through the cracks of the conventional safety net, the outreach clinics aim to provide heavily subsidised primary healthcare services to create a healthier community and a positive health impact.
