About Campaign

Operation Hope Foundation runs Training Job Skills for the Service Sector (TJSSS) at Hope Training Centre in Prey Veng, Cambodia. The programme targets rural youth to equip them with needed skills to increase their opportunity at white-collar jobs in the city. OHF has been running the programme for years and have seen many students graduate to secure jobs in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

Over the years, the equipment used to conduct the skills training course has deteriorated, to the point that the 40 classroom computers need to be repaired on a daily and rotational basis. The projectors used for teaching lessons have also broken down. To effectively teach the students, OHF is raising funds to:

1. Replace computers with 40 i5 Computers (SG$256 per computer)
2. Purchase 2 projector screens (SG$46 per screen)

We have raised $5,000 for 4 projectors.
Help us raise the rest of the funds needed to support the programme!

THE TJSSS PROGRAMME
Students learn English speaking and writing skills to communicate effectively in business transactions. They learn computer skills using Microsoft Office and graphics software to create presentations, brochures, videos and learn inventory management with applications. Among other skills taught are decision making and problem solving skills, creative thinking, and project planning. We emphasise the importance of the right attitude, to be honest, disciplined and punctual.

About the Charity

Operation Hope Foundation is a Christian charity established in 2001 in Singapore. We focus on achieving high benefit-to-cost ratio for both our donors and beneficiaries. Hence, we have a very hands-on approach to projects which we own and run. Your donation will go toward supporting the operations of OHF. Please visit our website www.ohf.org.sg for details on OHF's projects, programmes and beneficiaries.
