About Campaignends 09 Apr 2020, 11:59 PM
Cambodian villagers belonging to Poor 1 poverty level lack decent shelter, safe sanitation and clean water. They live in shacks with leaky roofs. To relieve themselves, they use the bushes and fields. The nearest water sources are walking distances away.
Your support comes as practical gifts of:
A 4m x 5m sturdy wooden house provides protection from the elements and improves the health of the inhabitants. The beneficiary gets to socialise with their neighbours more as they are no longer shunned. Children living in the house enjoys a conducive environment to study.
A water well with air compressor brings up clean underground water for a family to drink from and wash with. Water means productivity - families do not have to collect heavy buckets of water on foot. It sometimes also means food - as water is used to water vegetable crops for the families' consumption.
A toilet provides proper hygiene and safe sanitation. A decrease in exposure to bacteria increases health and prevents sicknesses. Having a toilet also gives dignity to our beneficiaries.
Your giving translates to an improved quality of life for struggling villagers.
Thank you for making hope real!
