About Campaign

Many rural youths do not have the financial means to continue their education after high school and have to settle for low-paying employment without a stable income. Without access to computer learning and skills upgrading, they typically transiting into farming and construction jobs after dropping out of school. Their income barely meets their daily expenses.

To break the cycle of poverty, OHF encourages youths to build a desire to see transformation in their lives. OHF runs the Training Job Skills for Service Sector (TJSSS) to equip rural youth in Prey Veng with the essential skills to get a white-collar job. After the programme, many of our beneficiaries secure good jobs that pay enough to cover their expenses and allow them to accumulate savings.

TJSSS alumni, Seak Leng, shared his testimony
"We studied computer and learned about Excel, Word, Photoshop, Coral Draw, and other things that help us to find a good job. I enjoyed learning English and Computer. I had never used a computer before and did not know how to try it. But since I joined TJSSS, I had fun and saw my teachers type so fast. It was difficult for me at first, but now I have improved my typing. After six months, I feel capable and more confident with myself. I hope that after this, I will get a good job."

You can transform a rural youth's life by sponsoring a bursary for a student in the TJSSS programme.
