About Campaignends 30 Sep 2021, 11:59 PM
National University Centre for Organ Transplantation (NUCOT) is the specialist centre for both adult and paediatric organ transplantation in the National University Hospital. As part of our organ donation awareness campaign, NUCOT has partnered with National Organ Transplant Unit (NOTU) and Art: Connect to showcase meaningful posters that were submitted for their Live On Design Competition and Organ Donation Art Competition respectively.
Organ donation is now the accepted standard of care to help patients with organ failure live longer, healthier and better quality of lives. Your kind donation will go towards helping patients who are in need of financial aid with their cost of transplant, including preliminary testing, surgery and post-operative recovery costs, and lifetime immunosuppressive medicines. The cost can be high and thus prevents or deters them from undergoing this life-saving procedure. Your support will allow these patients to have a second chance at life.
Managed by NUHS Fund, 100% of the funds raised for this campaign will goes into helping the organ transplant patients who are in need of financial assistance. For more information on organ transplant, visit www.nuh.com.sg/nucot.
