About Campaignends 01 Aug 2021, 11:59 PM
Women vs Cancer will be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by raising funds for breast cancer research and patient programmes.
Breast Cancer is the commonest and deadliest complex disease that afflicts Singaporean women. Based on the Singapore Cancer Registry 50th Anniversary Monograph, 1 in 13 women will be affected by breast cancer in their lifetime.
It creates a huge socioeconomic impact by affecting women in their economically productive years, disrupting childcare and daily function as a family unit where women are traditionally the lynchpin.
This underscores the importance of advancing breast cancer research and patient programmes to allow clinicians and scientists to innovate and improve breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, detection and prevention.
Through your generous gift, you can empower women to lead a life not limited by cancer.
About the Charity
Someone in Singapore is diagnosed with cancer every hour. For many, a cancer diagnosis is an emotional and difficult time. The NCCS Cancer Fund helps support cancer patients in need.
NCCS helps over 26,000 cancer patients each year.
From the moment they are diagnosed and throughout their treatment we are with them, providing the very best care, by the best people, in the best place.
Donate today and help us give hope to people with cancer.
All donations received are managed by SingHealth Fund (SHF), an institution of Public Character (UEN 201624016E).
