About Campaign

Nurses are often described as the next best thing to angels. Singapore celebrates Nurses' Day on 1 August every year to honour and recognise the invaluable contributions of nurses who are committed to providing round-the-clock care for the sick. While their dedication, compassion and tender care are commonly known to us, do we thank them enough?

Make a little gift to say thank you. Money raised will be used to help nurses upgrade their skills so that they can improve themselves and continue to provide the best care for cancer patients at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Nursing Research provides evidence used to support nursing practices. Many nurses now work as researchers based
in universities as well as in the health care setting.
NCCS Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) collaborate with our physicians to diagnose, treat and manage a group of
patients. Alongside to their clinical role, APN's are involved in developing nursing research programmes and ensuring
their discoveries are brought to the bedside to ultimately improve patient care.

Additionally, NCCS Nursing Educators plan, implement and evaluate NCCS Education Programmes, write educational
resources for our patient, their families and the public.

About the Charity

Someone in Singapore is diagnosed with cancer every hour. For many, a cancer diagnosis is an emotional and difficult time. The NCCS Cancer Fund helps support cancer patients in need.

NCCS helps over 26,000 cancer patients each year.

From the moment they are diagnosed and throughout their treatment we are with them, providing the very best care, by the best people, in the best place.

Donate today and help us give hope to people with cancer.

All donations received are managed by SingHealth Fund (SHF), an institution of Public Character (UEN 201624016E).
All donors are required to provide their Tax Reference number (e.g. NRIC/FIN/UEN where applicable) to enjoy tax deduction. The donation will be automatically included in the donor's IRAS tax assessment. As such, we will not be sending any official receipt, unless upon written request by the donor.

Please note that donations must be made before 15 December for processing and be included in time for tax assessment in the same year.
