About Campaign

Six enthusiastic secondary and high school students from the Singapore Japanese Secondary School and Waseda Shibuya Senior High School conceived the idea of putting up a charity concert after reading about the groundbreaking of the new National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) in the newspapers. These young heroes decided to pool their efforts to help cancer patients in Singapore, our country which they have come to love as their second home.

This concert aims to send a strong message that cancer is not a disease a patient can fight alone; it needs the support of a community, young and old. The students hope this concert will serve as an expression of their gratitude to Singapore Health Ministry for their unrelenting efforts in improving the health or our community while strengthening the bonds between the various ethnic communities in building of a peaceful and caring society.

With the support from many, tickets for the concert have been fully sold out! For those who will be missing the concert, do visit https://www.facebook.com/sjc.sjss.3 after 3 December 2017 for "live" recording of the performances.
Support these young heroes in their fight against cancer by making a gift now!

About NPO

Established in 2005, the NCC Research Fund supports innovative research to find the breakthroughs that will change how we understand, diagnose, treat and ultimately cure cancer. With cancer research and care under one roof at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, the knowledge gained from patient-centric research fuels advancement in clinical care, which in turn provides knowledge that drives research. We firmly believe that today's research will pave the way for tomorrow's cure for cancer. Please note that in the event that the donations made for a specific purpose/project: (i) Are less than the minimum $10,000 to support an existing project OR (ii) Has no new applicable project after a 2-year waiting period, the NCC Research Fund Board of Trustees reserves the right to channel these donations to the Fund's general pool in support of other worthy research projects.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
