National Cancer Survivors Day
About Campaignends 31 Aug 2016, 11:59 PM
On 5 June 2016, we invite you to celebrate life and National Cancer Survivors Day. NCCS' Cancer Survivors Day is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed and a gathering of support for families .
It is a day for everyone, whether you're a cancer survivor, a family member, friend or medical professional. This day provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and pay tribute to those who have care and support along the way.
Your support will ensure that the NCC Research Fund can continue to advance cancer knowledge and treatment through ground-breaking research. Your generosity will celebrate all cancer survivors, and ensure those currently facing a cancer diagnosis can survive and will survive their cancer journey.

Established in 2005, the NCC Research Fund serves as the flagship fundraising and grant-making channel of National Cancer Centre of Singapore (NCCS) by providing seeding and bridging funds for an array of translational and clinical research programmes. With cancer research and care under one roof at the NCCS, the knowledge gained from patient-centric research fuels advancement in clinical care, which in turn provides bedside knowledge that drives further research. We firmly believe that today's research will pave the way for tomorrow's cure for cancer. Please note that in the event that the donations made for a specific purpose/project: (i) Are less than the minimum $10,000 to support an existing project OR (ii) Has no new applicable project after a 2-year waiting period, the NCC Research Fund Board of Trustees reserves the right to channel these donations to the Fund's general pool in support of other worthy research projects.
