About Cherished Moments - Deepavali

"Cherished moments" is a platform for kidney patients and their loved ones to re-connect with each other and remember the cherished moments they have done together through various activities. The event itself offers a 'respite' for caregivers as it gives them a break from caregiving. At the same time, they have peace of mind as the patient is still together with them physically.

By celebrating Deepavali (a celebration of Hindu religion's spiritual concept of "light conquering darkness", also known the "Festival of Lights") through The National Kidney Foundation's Cherished Moments programme, we hope to encourage the patients to express their gratitude and affection to their family members.

About the Charity

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a non-profit organisation committed to ensuring that no kidney patient is deprived of dialysis, and working closely with the community to fight against kidney failure. As a National organisation, the care we provide goes beyond mere dialysis but also looking after patients' psychosocial and emotional needs, as well as family and societal issues, such that they can get back on their feet and re-integrate into society. Your support will give Life & Hope to kidney patients!
