About Campaign

The mission of Community and Access work at the Gallery is to increase access for our visitors from the under-served communities, so that every person can enjoy equitable opportunities to experience the Gallery and make meaningful connections with our art, heritage and offerings.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy Art thus the Gallery seeks to engage with communities who do not naturally visit the Gallery to do so and come back for more. Your donation contributes to one session for 40 participants from the under-served community such as the financial underprivileged families and children, migrant and foreign domestic workers as well as the elderly living in homes. The session includes a tour of selected artworks in the Gallery and a craft workshop for the group to try their hands at art-making. Transport and materials will be provided at each session.

Your contribution would improve the quality of lives of these beneficiaries and go a long way in fostering a cohesive society for the nation. Support the spirit of inclusiveness in art today.

A $25 donation allows the Gallery to enrich one person's visit to the Gallery and opens up to endless possibilities.

About the Charity

National Gallery Singapore is a visual arts institution which oversees the largest public collection of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Situated in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting venue.

Reflecting Singapore's unique heritage and geographical location, the Gallery features Singapore and Southeast Asian art from Singapore's National Collection in its long-term and special exhibitions. The Gallery also works with international museums to jointly present Southeast Asian art in the global context, positioning Singapore as a regional and international hub for the visual arts.

In 2016, the Gallery won the awards for "Best Attraction Experience", "Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism" and "Best Customer Service (Attractions)" at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore's tourism landscape.

National Gallery Singapore will be a civic and creative space, established for the enrichment, enjoyment and engagement of Singapore residents and visitors from all over the world.
