Riding on technology, video and voice calls are some of the most direct methods we can use to sustain our efforts in supporting our clients. However, we have come to learn that not all of them have a mobile device. To us, a mobile device is a necessity but to a handful of our clients, it is pure luxury to own one. The lack of this essential communication tool creates an information gap that is difficult to fill under the current circumstance where home visit is restricted.
As such, we are appealing to you for help. A mobile phone will be helpful for isolated seniors to call emergency hotlines, and for our homeless clients to remain contactable when we assist them in securing a temporary shelter, as well as for us to virtually check in and ensure the safety of the families facing domestic violence.
We are counting on you to help by donating a working mobile phone directly to us (email us at [email protected] or call us at 8333 0822) or contributing in monetary terms through this campaign. All proceeds will be used to purchase basic mobile phone sets and SIM Cards.
