The programme is held twice a week in the evenings for an hour each time by teachers from School of Concepts. The programme is phonics-based and adopts a scaffolding approach to teaching the children. Each session purposefully incorporates the use of a variety of fun and experiential activities, utilising games, songs, dance, stories, and creative props to engage the children and encourage learning. The progress of each child is tracked, and feedback is given to the parents and/or caregivers after every session.
It is known that poor educational outcomes limit future opportunities for growth and advancement in society, and this has a tendency to cascade to the next generation due to many reasons including the lack of resources and access to support that could make a difference. Your generous contribution will allow the offering of the programme to the children, bridging the accessibility for them and allowing them to have equal opportunity in life to succeed in school.
