About Campaign
ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PMWe would not have been able to achieve this milestone without your support.
Because of you, we made incredible changes and growth over the years. The theme, You + Me, Shine The Light Forward represents our journey together now and in the future.
Our Metta student leads an Independent and Meaningful Life
Metta School is one of the ten welfare centres established by Metta Welfare Association in 2001. The school offers special education to children with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and some co-occurring with Autism (ASD), aged between 7 and 21 years.
To enable students to lead an independent and meaningful life, Metta School conducts the Vocational Certification programme for its students at the age of 17 and above to train them in baking, food preparation and housekeeping operations.
Graduates of the Metta School Vocational Certification Programme graduates are empowered to maximise their potential, whether through employment or further education.
By practising discipline, diligence and resilience at the workplace, these graduates have managed to sustain employment or attain higher certification.
