Originally started in 2003, MWS has recently taken over operations of the student care centre which currently serves 78 children aged between 7-14 years old. An estimated 20 students are from low-income families and are on heavily subsidised fees. MWS CSCC provides a safe place for children and promotes holistic development of each child under their care via a nurturing, structured programme implemented by our dedicated staff. A variety of enrichment sessions cater to 5 domains: Physical, moral, aesthetic, social and cognitive.

Our team of staff care genuinely for the students and have many years of experience in teaching and caring for children.

MWS CSCC needs your support in order to refurbish and increase the functionality of the centre, as well as purchase new lockers for the students and various equipment for enrichment sessions.

Please give generously!

About the Charity

Founded more than 30 years ago in 1981 and registered as an Institution of a Public Character, Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is a multi-service organisation that manages 20 centres and outreach programmes across Singapore.

We serve people in need regardless of their race and religion. Our critical services support low-income and/or distressed families, children from low-income families, at-risk youths, the destitute, sick and/or frail elderly, and the socially isolated.

We enable all to have life to the full by reducing poverty, alleviating the strains and stresses of modern life, helping the elderly to age in place and live with dignity, nurturing the potential of disadvantaged children and rehabilitating at-risk youths.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
