If Love can be expressed in colours, for MWS, it is in hues of gold, green, orange, purple and blue. These are the colours of MWS' 5 IMPACT AREAS: the chronically ill, frail and destitute, distressed and low-income families, socially isolated seniors, at-risk youth, and disadvantaged children.

The funds raised from the Colours of Love Charity Gala will go towards MWS' 22 centres and programmes that support over 9,000 people who are struggling with financial poverty and social isolation as well as those who are in poor physical and mental health.

You can support by making an outright donation. Your donation is eligible for 2.5 times tax deduction subject to prevailing IRAS guidelines.

Please give us your positive and strong support to enable us to do our work amongst the disadvantaged every day.

About the Charity

Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is all about empowering people to have life to the full.

The people we serve may experience poverty in different ways - weak social support or fractured relationships, poor health, a sense of hopelessness, or a lack of means. We journey alongside them to uncover their inherent strengths, affirm them and support them holistically towards a better life.

Our island-wide suite of 22 centres and outreach programmes include casework, counselling and therapy; medical and rehabilitative care; home-based, community-based and residential care; a debt clearance and asset building scheme; and other services.

Founded in 1981, MWS is an Institution of a Public Character and a member of the National Council of Social Service. As a Christian non-profit organisation, we serve people across all ethnicities and religions. Today, we serve over 9,000 low-income and distressed families, disadvantaged children, at-risk youth, the chronically ill, frail and destitute, and the socially isolated.
