This year, Mercy Relief and its partners are hoping to reach out to more people and have also increased the kids dash to 1KM. Through this meaningful, family-friendly event, Mercy Relief hopes to encourage a sense of compassion and empathy in our next generation. We believe kids can never be too young to make a difference.
Held in observance of World Humanitarian Day, Mercy Relief aims to celebrate the indomitable human spirit as we stand in solidarity with the survivors who have inspired humanitarian work around the world.
The race is not simply a run, but instead challenges participants to take on some of the challenges faced by survivors as they struggle to obtain relief supplies in the aftermath of a disaster. Upon completion all relief packs from the event will be distributed to local families in need in partnership with The Foodbank Singapore.
